Bike Fun provides bicycle instruction for humans of all ages, sizes, and abilities. Get on the Bike Fun schedule for 2023!
Whether you are a beginning rider or a more seasoned one; someone who is new to Nashville or who has been here a while; or someone who is simply curious and enthralled by becoming your own engine, Bike Fun can help you with one-on-one instruction or group classes tailored to your needs. Let us guide you towards becoming a more skilled, passionate bike rider. With two wheels, you can go anywhere.

Pedal the Park with Friends of Shelby – October 14, 2024
Take a ride in the park with Friends of Shelby and Bike Fun! Twice a month, we’ll cruise in Shelby Park starting from the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center Trailhead for a casual, no-drop ride, lasting about an hour. Free, social bike ride for ages 10+.
9 & 10 Year Old Learn to Ride – October 2024
This learn-to-ride class for 9 & 10 year olds is open to the general public. Sliding scale ticket fee of $15-25. Class limited to 5 attendees.
Intermediate Riding Skills for 5 & 6 Year Olds – October 2024
This intermediate riding skills for 5 & 6 year olds is open to the general public. Suggested donation $25-35. Class limited to 5 attendees.

Bike Lab Volunteer Session – November 2024
We’re in need of some cleaning for bikes that have been in a dusty storage situation. If you’ve got basic mechanical skills, we’ll also be making adjustments to these simple single speed kids bikes.
Adult Learn to Ride – November 2024
This small group adult learn to ride class is offered at sliding scale registration fee. New riders or returning riders welcome. Ages 18-85.
HOT CHOCOLATE the Park with Friends of Shelby – November 17, 2024
Come share your love of bicycle riding with riders of all ages – and enjoy a hot drink afterwards. Hot chocolate & cookies will be available. Free & open to the public.
