TUESDAY Ride the West Side

Join us each week as we hit some fun routes on the west side of town.

This is a faster paced, more strenuous ride than our other events for intermediate+ riders comfortable riding in groups and on the roads. Please attend one of our other events first if you are not sure.

Distance: 15-20 miles
Elevation: ~1000 ft
Pace: 12-15 MPH

**What to Expect**:

* A fun, no-drop ride suitable for intermediate+ cyclists comfortable in groups on the road.
* No riders will be left behind.
* Arrive on time to maximize daylight during the ride.
* Ensure you have front and rear lights for safety, especially during the latter part of the ride.
* If there are weather issues, we will make a final decision by 3:00 pm on the day of the ride.

**Cyclist Responsibilities**:

1. Arrive early and be ready to depart promptly.
2. Note that some starting points may not have restrooms, so plan accordingly.
3. Check that your bicycle is in proper working order before arriving.
4. Carry essentials: spare tube, patch kit, pump, water bottle, and a snack.
5. Bring identification and emergency money.
6. Always wear a helmet.
7. Follow safety guidelines and obey traffic laws.
8. Choose rides within your ability and interest level.
9. Experienced riders will assist in case of a flat tire.
10. Most importantly, have fun!
