Join us for a Sunday Greenway ride with 2 starting options.

**Option A**: Depart 8:00a from Percy Priest Dam, Stones River Greenway trailhead

**What to Expect:**
• A relaxed, no-drop ride suitable for intermediate cyclists and above.
• No riders will be left behind.
• Arrive on time to maximize daylight during the ride.
• Ensure you have front and rear lights for safety, especially during the latter part of the ride.
• If there are weather issues, we will make a final decision by 7:00 am on the day of the ride.

**Cyclist Responsibilities:**

1. Arrive early and be ready to depart promptly.
2. Start points may not have restrooms, please plan accordingly.
3. Check that your bicycle is in proper working order before arriving and have proper front & rear working lights.
4. Carry essentials: spare tube, patch kit, pump, water bottle, and a snack.
5. Bring identification and emergency money.
6. **Helmets are a MUST** No helmet no ride.
7. Follow safety guidelines and obey traffic laws according to the state of Tennessee.
8. Choose rides within your ability and interest level.
9. Experienced riders will assist in case of a flat tire.
10. Most importantly, have fun!

# DIGITAL RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

**Nashville Cumberland River Riders & THE LEAGUE OF AMERICAN BICYCLISTS**

**DIGITAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT:**
By signing up for any Nashville Cumberland River Riders cycling activities through Meetup or any other online platform, I acknowledge and agree to all terms and conditions of this Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement as if I had signed it.

**ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK:**
I understand the nature of cycling activities and affirm that I am in good health and in proper physical condition to participate. I am aware that these activities will be conducted over public roads and facilities open to the public, where hazards are to be expected. Should I believe conditions to be unsafe, I will immediately discontinue participation.

**ACCEPTANCE OF RISK:**
I recognize that:
(a) Cycling activities involve risks of serious bodily injury, including permanent disability, paralysis, and death.
(b) These risks may be due to my own actions or inactions, those of others, the conditions under which the activity takes place, or the negligence of the “Releasees” named below.
(c) There may be other risks and losses either not known to me or not readily foreseeable.

**RELEASE OF LIABILITY:**
I hereby release Nashville Cumberland River Riders, THE LEAGUE OF AMERICAN BICYCLISTS, their respective administrators, directors, agents, officers, members, volunteers, and employees, other participants, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises from all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages on my account caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the “Releasees” or otherwise.

**AGREEMENT:**
I have read this agreement, fully understand its terms, and acknowledge that I have given up substantial rights by agreeing to it. I accept it as a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.

**MINORS:**
If the participant is under 18 years old, a parent or guardian must also acknowledge and agree to the terms of this waiver digitally.

**NOTE:**
This digital waiver does not require a physical signature. By signing up for the ride, participants are deemed to have accepted these terms.

**Limited Liability Release:**
By becoming a member, you accept the liability release. Understand that cycling on public roads involves inherent risks, including dangerous roadways, intersections, and traffic. Nashville City Cycling Meetup, its members, volunteers, sponsors, and organizers are not liable for any injuries, property damage, or other incidents during the ride.
