Hammer Drop ’24 MTB Race
Get ready to rumble.
The 1st annual Hammer Drop at Henry Horton, sponsored by MOAB Bike Shop, is a one-day Mountain Bike Race + Festival for all ages on Saturday, July 13, 2024, in Chapel Hill, TN.
Location: Henry Horton State Park – MTB Trails
4209 Nashville Hwy – Chapel Hill, TN 37034
This scenic trail system is managed by the Tennessee State Park Rangers and local volunteers. They have a tough network of fun, fast, flowy and challenging trails that you would expect from a course nestled in Middle Tennessee.
This event will include a unique and challenging trail, prizes and some cool swag.
Come out and RACE or just come spectate!

11AM-6PM: Packet Pick-up at MOAB Bike Shop (Franklin)
Saturday (7/13)
7AM-12PM: Packet Pick-up/Registration (onsite) + Snacks/Coffee
*Pre-ride announcements will occur 10 minutes before the start of each race.
Race Start Times:
8:00AM – BEGINNER
9:30AM – JUNIORS (11-17), KIDS COURSE (4-10)
10:30AM – PRO/ELITE, EXPERT
12:30PM – SPORT
1:00PM – E-BIKE
RULES/LICENSES
This is a USA Cycling-sanctioned event- all USAC rules apply. A USA Cycling (USAC) annual or one-day license is required. Read up on USAC one-day licenses HERE.
Please go to usacycling.org and renew/buy your annual license now (valid for one year).

One-day licenses for Category 3 (Beginner One-Day) are $15 and may be purchased through BikeReg during race registration.
One-day licenses for Pro, Category 1, and Category 2 (Experienced One-Day) are $35.
They should be available for purchase through BikeReg during race registration, or they can be purchased through this event-specific USA Cycling website.
Participants MUST provide proof of a valid 2024 USA Cycling Annual license OR purchase a one-day license during registration (details here). Racers categorized in the USA Cycling Endurance discipline as “Pro”
must race in the Pro/Cat 1 Open group.
We WILL NOT process license renewals or new sales at the event; please take care of this before arriving at the race venue.
