9th Annual Nolensville Kids Triathlon

The 9th annual Nolensville Kids Triathlon will take place on Sunday, August 4th from 7:00-9:00 am at  the Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville.

We would like to thank our amazing partners: the Town of Nolensville and the Williamson County Parks & Recreation Department for helping us to make this triathlon a huge success!

Categories/Distances:
Ages 5-7: 50 yard swim, 2.5 mile bike, 0.7 mile run
Ages 8-11: 100 yard swim, 2.5 mile bike, 0.7 mile run
Ages 12-15: 150 yard swim, 5 mile bike, 1.5 mile run

This race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and as such we follow the standard “age up rule.” The age of the racer is based on their age at the end of the calendar year.

Safety: The goal for this event is to promote a healthy, active lifestyle for kids while keeping it FUN, FUN, FUN for competitors plus their family and friends. It is the management team’s mission to bring you a safe, organized event so the fun just falls into place. Safety measures to note: 1) roads closed to traffic, 2) experienced race management and support staff, 3) controlled and secured staging area and course connector areas, 4) race number system to match kids with parents or guardians at any time.

Participation: This event is focused on crossing the finish line. Awards go to the top 3 winners of each age and gender 5 to 15, and ALL racers receive a participation award.  In other words – EVERYONE IS A WINNER.

Nashville Dolphins started in 2003 with the mission to bring the physical and emotional benefits of swimming to people with special needs regardless of age, ability or financial circumstances.  They provide all programming at no cost to the participant.
