Metro Nashville and Davidson County became a Vision Zero city in 2022. Metro Council and Mayor John Cooper adopted the Vision Zero Action Plan and Implementation Plan in August 2022. \nWhile Vision Zero is a challenging goal\, it’s worth working towards because people deserve safe streets in Nashville.

DESCRIPTION:The Gallatin Pike and Main Street Vision Plan includes community engagement\, design concepts and recommendations for the following streets in East Nashville: \n\nMain Street from S. 5th Street to S. 10th Street\nGallatin Pike from S. 10th Street to Briley Parkway\n\nProject Extent Map \nThese street segments are among Nashville’s most dangerous streets\, both included in the Vision Zero Action Plan’s High Injury Network.
