DESCRIPTION:Save the Date for 2024! Walk Bike Nashville’s 20th Annual Tour de Nash\, presented by LDA Engineering is Saturday\, May 18th! More info to come.\nWalk Bike Nashville’s 20th annual Tour de Nash is Nashville’s largest urban bike ride. Take on the City Tour (9-mi)\, Local Tour (25-mi)\, or Grand Tour (45-mi) to suit your riding style. Bring your kids to ride in the Kid’s Tour (1-mi). Your paid registration includes a t-shirt and route support. \nHighlights:\n\n9\, 25\, and 45-mile ride options suitable for bicyclists of all skill levels\nScenic routes highlighting Nashville’s neighborhoods\, bikeways\, and greenways.\nRest stops featuring refreshments\, bathroom facilities\, and basic bicycle maintenance equipment available.\nEvery paid rider receives a t-shirt\, ride number\, and rider packet\nThis year we are kicking off the mass start at Watkins Park!\nWalk Bike Nashville members get discounted Tour de Nash Tickets. Discount codes will be emailed to members.\n\nRoutes\n\nRoutes will be posted here and on our Eventbrite once finalized.\n** Note: Routes are subject to change at any time before May 20th\, 2023. Please check the route the morning of the Tour de Nash for the latest version.\n\nVolunteer\n\nWe could not do the Tour de Nash without our incredible volunteers!\nAll volunteers and route marking team members get a free registration to ride in the Tour de Nash.\nRegister to volunteer here!\n\nTour Trainers\nTour Trainers: Thanks to The Domestiques Cycling Club\, we are offering Tour Trainers rides again this year. These rides are designed to help you build up your distance and comfortability to ride in the Local Tour (25-mile) or Grand Tour (45-mile) ride. Rides begin April 10th and will happen weekly leading up to the Tour de Nash. Once you register\, a Domestiques Cycling Club member will contact you the Friday before the ride to give you the ride start location and time information. \nSign-Ups will be posted soon. \nKid’s Tour (1-mile ride)\nOnce again\, we are offering a Kid’s Tour\, in addition to our other three routes at the Tour de Nash. The Kid’s Tour is designed for brand new cyclists\, especially students from our Safe Routes to School Focus Schools who recently learned to ride a bike! This short ride is a great option for kids to practice their new cycling skills they’ll have the option to complete the route up to 3 times. Registration includes a t-shirt\, a protected route\, and snacks after the ride. All registered kids must be accompanied by an adult. SUMMARY:Saturday Morning Spice Ride
DESCRIPTION:A group road ride of varying lengths with “spice zones” for hard efforts. 40 to 70 miles. Often two groups\, one with 17mph avg and the other with 20mph avg. \nSome scheduled rides will be canceled if roads or trails are wet. Rides after dark will require a headlight or helmet light.  Helmets required on all rides.
